Case Manager:

Twin Town Treatment Centers (2023)

Welcome new patients by providing assessments, conducting orientations, UA screenings, and coordinating healthcare. This position also includes crisis intervention and determining substance abuse treatment modalities. Duties also include providing timely and effective care that is safe, and client- centered. Reviewing case progress and determining case closure by the time clients achieve their desired wellness.

Clinical Counseling Tech:

SCADP – Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, inc. (2023)

Facilitated groups, met with staff daily to plan group topics, offered handouts for client to study, counseled clients coping with substance use problems, UA testing, health evaluations and treatment plans, helped clients feel at ease and assisted them with achieving goals for long term recovery. Engaged all clients during group sessions. Transferred client charts from current filing methods to company archives. Scheduled client intakes via telephone at the corporate office.

Registered Alcohol and Drug Tech:

Ocean Coast Recovery Center- Huntington Beach, CA. (2022)

Performed 30-minute rounds (reports) for each client every day, provided meals, hygiene items, and clothing when needed. Drove clients to AA and NA meetings in company van, facilitated groups such as “Mindfulness”, “Coping Skills” Assertive Communication” and “Relapse Prevention” entered group notes, KIPU notes, and “End of Shift reports” along with taking clients for walks, shopping runs, yoga classes, church meetings, exercise groups, and bonfires at the beach.

Port of Long Beach: Health Screening (2022)

Performed Carnival Cruise line check ins while also conducting Covid testing for passengers prior to boarding the ship. Collected boarding passes, passports, and assisted passengers through the terminal to the proper embarkation area. Verified customer itinerary via cruise ship apps, verified customer documents with the help of Carnival staff.
