To the company, a delivery driver has many other responsibilities such as making sure the food is taking out of the oven and dealt with carefully. Working in the morning means prepping the ingredients needed to supply the store throughout the day and ensure the store is in good condition to open. The daytime driver's main goal is to deliver food quickly and efficiently. The nighttime driver is the closer meaning all dishes must be washed, all floors must be swept and mopped, and all trash is taken out. The closing driver wants to ensure the store will be in good condition so that the opening driver can prep while having the store in good condition. A reasonable accomplishment was when one of our regulars who would order food every morning when she didn't one day I had driven by her house to ensure her safety as she was regular and she had fallen while living alone and could not get help until I came.
