This was my first job, as well as hostess, I also did a variety of other jobs when needed such as bussing tables and doing work in the back to help the kitchen staff. For a first job, I felt like it taught me how to be versatile.
2001 – 2008
STNA / Crestview Nursing and Rehab, Lancaster
During my employment here, I held two job titles: Resident Assistant and then later STNA. My primary job skills were getting patients ready for nightly activities such as, bathing, dressing them, brushing their teeth, and helping them with other tasks. A normal night involved a patient to STNA ratio of 28:1.
2010 – 2010
Travelling STNA / MSN Staffing, Columbus
While employed here I would travel to neighboring Nursing homes that were understaffed to help them. Duties involved learning new medical charting software for each location I would be sent too, in addition to my normal STNA duties; Helping feed patients that are unable to feed themselves. Recording patients nightly intake and output when necessary.
2010 – 2011
Home Health STNA / Good Nursing Care, Canal Winchester
Duties involved assisting patients with daily bathing, dressing, brushing their teeth, cooking them meals, doing laundry, keeping their living space clean and taking them to their doctors appointments. Home Health required me to drive to the patients home to take care of them, for an eight hour shift, in a one on one setting.
2012 – 2012
Veterinary Assistant / Countryside Vet Clinic, Zanesville
Daily task would include pet appointment scheduling, reminder calls, pet grooming, nail clipping, and surgery scheduling. During surgeries I would help set up the surgical area and prepare the animal for sedation and assist the doctor in retrieving items and medicine.

Helping customers pick out the correct lens and frames, contact lens teachings, appointment scheduling, insurance handling, lens verification, measuring for correct frame fit, and customer trouble shooting and lens teaching.

While in high school I enrolled in a program called OWE (Occupation Work Education), which allowed me to work during a class period. In Senior year it also allowed me to leave 2 period earlier and helped me get in a job as a Nursing Assistant. The last two years of High school was attended at Tri-County Vocational school.

Sophomore and senior year were spent at Tri-County Vocational. Enrolled in a two-year computer programming class designed to prepare me for the programming classes at Hocking College. Half of my day was spent in programming classes and other required courses for graduation, and the other half was spent in my OWE program that allowed me to leave early to hold a full-time job.
