Bio:

I am Melanie Carter-Arias, I have lived in Klamath Falls for four years and came from Cleveland Tennessee. Born in Virgina and went to college in Tennessee. I went to Lee University in Cleveland TN in 1995 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. I left Lee University for a short while and returned a year later for my master's at Lee University. In 2002 I received my Master's of Science degree in Counseling Psychology. While at Lee I was the President of the Psychology Club for 3 years. I was inducted into the Nation Honors Society Psi Chi in 2001. I graduated in 2002 and a year later I got Married, 5 years later I welcomed a daughter then a son. I have 3 puppies as well.

Adjunct Professor: Teach Human Growth and Development Klamath Community College

I teach Human Growth and Development from adolescents to Death and Dying. Instructed students on the developmental aspects of each age group. I gave Homework, Exams and Biography Papers. I also Graded work and posted grades.

I provided pastoral Counseling for Children, Teens and Adult Women. I provide Play Therapy, Clinical intakes, and progress notes. Instructor relationship and Ethics with the Thrive School of Ministry.

I owned Connections Counseling with My Husband. I provided office aid, Credentialing with insurance companies, made appointments and billed insurances. I provided couples counseling and Play Therapy for small children.

Provided Counseling for hospitalized inpatients, Held Drug and Alcohol Treatment Groups, Provided Utilization Reviews for more days in hospital, Developed Client Treatment plans and wrote progress notes. Taught Anatomy and Physiology Class, Medication Classes, and Psycho Educational Classes.

My Husband and I are the Associate Pastors at our Church, and I have led women's ministries and held conferences for women's ministries.
