(bug tracking), Bamboo (CI/CD), Crucible (code reviews), FishEye (code metrics), and Confluence (in house WIKI and documentaƟon) using Mercurial for a source code repository and SQL Servers on the back end.

Over the last 20+ years I have worked in many different professional soŌware development shops. Usually I start out as a Senior SoŌware Engineer but aŌer being tasked to set up a CI/CD system for one company about 15 years ago I have conƟnued to expand my experƟse in that area in every posiƟon since. I have installed/set-up/managed/worked with a number of technologies dealing with source code repositories like Subversion(SVN), GIT, CVS, MS TFS, Mercurial, BitBucket, Perforce, Code Co-op, StarTeam, PVCS, and VSS. I also have worked a number of projects to convert from version control system to another. Personally I like distributed version control systems for their inherent redundancy and how they handle merging code so well. I have also worked with many different scripƟng and build tools such as Ant, Nant, Java, DOS batch files, Python, MS Build, Bamboo, TeamCity, and Cruise Control (Go conƟnuous delivery). I also developed many custom tools for specific build requirements that were used in the integraƟon process.

I have set up and administered and customized a number of different bug or issue tracking systems like Bugzilla, JIRA, as well as custom in-house soluƟons. 3/2010 – 10/2012 OneDomain Inc., Hoover, Alabama – Senior Developer: Developed soŌware to manage TV and radio Nielsen raƟngs for TV and radio staƟons so they could sell ad Ɵmes. Lots of database work with FireBird and MS SQL performance tuning and creaƟng new stored procedures for publishing inventory, reporƟng and other tasks. Also DevOps lead on projects to manage the source code repository with Mercurial and implemented a conƟnuous integraƟon and issue tracking and code review system using the Atlassian products Bamboo, JIRA and Crucible. Used various scripƟng languages to glue the whole process together. Documented, trained and mentored enƟre development staff on CI/CD system and reporƟng.
