Attn. Personnel Manager,
I am exploring the possibly of obtaining full time employment as a Land’s Team Lead.
I had been working part time Guiding First Nation representatives to proposed dispositions. How ever that has ended due to a lack of work coming in. In May of 2004 I started working as an Intern Land Agent with Peace Country Land and took the Olds Land Agent course over the inter-net, In June 2005 I received my Land Agents License and have continued to work for the last fifteen years as a Land Agent / Environment Agent, my duties as a Environment agent was to scout proposed Well sites, Access Roads, Pipeline Row’s, Timber Reports and filling out the Alberta Government Environmental Field Reports for these proposed dispositions, Guiding First Nation representatives to proposed dispositions in conjunction with applying for crown dispositions. I did most of the field scouts by myself, occasionally accompanied by a client representative.
My duties as a land agent were acquiring surface lease and right of way agreements and paying pipeline right of way damages & conducting rental reviews. I have an active Land Agent license (4361), am a Commissioner of Oaths in Alberta and have a valid passport and class 3 driver’s license. I have received four Covid 19 shots and am up to date.
I spent six years with Bighorn Land & Field Service Ltd. During my time with Bighorn, I performed many functions, all related to the seismic industry. I permitted and released Landowners, with budgetary responsibility from $25,000 -
$150,000 in land fees, scouted seismic programs in advance of Government applications, and did Government referrals and inspected seismic lines after completion of programs. I am excellent with all types of maps, both reading and creating them. The only reason I left Bighorn was due to a shortage of work coming in.
I also spent four years with Century Exploration, as a Drill Push, Advance Party Manager, Observer and Permit Agent.
I spent the 1991 Winter with Impact Exploration doing Government referrals and scouting programs, making maps, logging plans, and permitting in Fort St. John, B.C. I have ten years of experience as an Observer and ten years as a Permit Agent. I also have experience working as a Chainer, Shooter and a Driller’s Helper. I spent two years running and slashing seismic lines.
I was raised on a mixed farm in the Innisfail area and relate well with landowners. I own a 2019 Chevrolet 4x4, equipped with an FM field radio. I also have my own laptop, GPS, and Can-Am 4x4 quad, which can be utilized on the job when required at industry rates.
Sincerely: .
