The Supervisor OSP Construction manages all aspects of multiple OSP construction and maintenance projects from start to finish within an assigned territory. This includes project development, scheduling, implementation, completion, material and budget management, and collaborating with internal and external contributors. This role also manages direct reports and oversees vendor performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Manage daily activities for multiple OSP construction projects, including planning, organizing, and directing construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.

•Prepare and submit performance requirements, material needs, timing, and budget estimates for proposals and quotes.

•Evaluate construction methods for cost-effectiveness.

•Schedule projects to meet deadlines and study specifications to determine methods and needs.

•Manage and track inventory, materials, and equipment (project-specific, tools, vehicles, supplies).

•Determine labor needs and coordinate with HR for staffing.

•Direct and supervise employees and vendors involved in daily OSP Construction.

•Select, coordinate, and oversee vendors for specific project pieces (e.g., tower, line, splicing crews, subcontractors).

•Meet contractual performance conditions.

•Monitor budget and input data for progress and cost reports.

•Monitor construction progress, making adjustments to meet deadlines, specifications, codes, and regulations; input data for progress reports.

•Investigate and mitigate impacts of damage, accidents, emergencies, and delays.

•Confer employees, vendors, customers, designers to resolve issues.

•Adhere to KGPCo safety and quality programs, managing projects accordingly.

•Monitor projects to ensure site safety inspections, and that safety and quality guidelines are followed by employees and vendors.

•Continuously review project work progress.

•Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

•Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques..

•Approve employee timecards, time off, and expense reports.

•Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

•Other duties as assigned for the needs of the business.

•SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Handling and installing fiber drops and cable.

Installed and Monitored Proper Installation techniques for techs in residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards..

•Troubleshooting internet service equipment (e.g., ONTs, routers, modems)

Instructed tech on Proper setup and repair of Equipment

•Fundamentals of electrical safety related to telecommunications.
