Served as Process Improvement coordinator answering to the VP of Sabre.

Performed time studies to eliminate cost in manufacturing process.

Identified 96 work items in 8.5 months that generated a potential savings of 1.54 million dollars, closed 75% of the list items.

Redesigned and optimized the concrete mix designs showing executive management that we could save $3000-$4000 daily with several changes in raw products of the concrete design. Based on normal production levels, this change will generate $1.5 million annually.

Introduced Sabre to integral coloring of concrete to produce higher quality architectural units when needed.

Trained roofing personnel the proper wet mil roofing procedures and documented the SOP.

Wrote SOP for crack repair and brought in trainers for the education of plant employees.

Was responsible for Quality of company’s precast line.

Tested and suggested new products and their implementation that decreased manufacturing cost an average $500,000.00 annually for last 12 years. Had some banner years that exceeded 5 million dollars during the “Fibercrete Era”.

As QA Manager of precast product, was directly responsible for 4 inspectors. Feel proud and happy to be a team member, that help make Fibrebond the number 1 shelter manufacturer in America.

Simultaneously held the position of R&D Manager for last 25 years at Fibrebond.

Tested many products such as coatings, hot melt adhesives, screw-anchor pullout strength, industrial adhesives etc…

Designed all concrete mix designs used by the Fibrebond Corporation for the last 25 years. Made adjustments for strength and esthetics as needed to retain high quality, cost effectiveness for Fibrebond’s base product.

PCI level 1-2 certified for 7 years.

Have operated and inspected a few different batch plants, from OMNI, pan type mixers through-HAGAN-SOUTHER-STANLEY-ROSS-SKAKO.

Inspected all facets of the construction process from casting formwork through electrical inspection.

Was heavily involved in growing the company in Minden, LA. From actually running batching systems to coordination with contractors to meet deadlines. Manufactured well in excess of million cubic yards of concrete for property expansion and building manufacture while still being accountable for companies quality. Have maintained company trade secrets and cost for over 25 years.

Work heavily with vendors to resolve product issues and or development of new materials for our manufacturing process.
