CURRENT WORK DESCRIPTION
Part of my work in transcription includes using search engines for researching the correct spelling of proper nouns such as business and corporation names, and people’s names, as well as industry terms. I narrow search results to find the correct spelling by using keywords, including phonetic spelling, geographical information and professional titles that are given by the customer and/or the audio.
I do a variety of different kinds of transcription for different industries, but I mostly do legal transcription, which includes dictation, police interviews, depositions, courtroom testimony, 911 phone calls, and police lapel video, news broadcasts, podcasts, speeches, and entertainment interviews. I cannot give more specific details about the exact content of the audio or the customers due to being under the legal restriction of a non-disclosure agreement. I have been doing transcription work since 2014. EXPERIENCE
