I have extensive training as a spatial designer using CAD software

I go to clients’ homes or offices to determine their needs to make their space more functional for them. By using tape measure and laser measure I can get correct dimensions needed to create each client’s dream space. As the designer, you also need to take inventory of items that will be used in each room or space.

Building personable relations with customers helps to put clients at ease. I like being trustworthy and dependable.

After meeting with clients, I like to set a future date to meet with them at one of our CC showrooms to walk them through their design in 3D. Being able to think, listen and revise designs while meeting with the client helps to attract the sale.

After the client’s system is installed, I like to stop by for a quick peek. It’s truly rewarding when you see the excitement on people’s faces, and you know you had a hand in that!

California Closets, Briarcliff/Riverside, Mo. - Customer Liaison

●I oversaw answering all incoming phone calls. I also checked the leads each morning and scheduled appointments for potential clients with one of the 5 designers.

●I was the face of California Closets each time someone walked into the showroom. I was their first contact with the brand. I kept the showroom clean and tidy and represented the brand with knowledge of the CC products.

●I oversaw inputting past client files into the database. I was also responsible for collecting monthly client information to send to Signpost, an outsourced company we used to gather feedback from the client’s experience.

I decided to continue my education, and I earned certification as a Personal Trainer from National Academy of Sports Medicine. Two evenings a week I lead strength training and flexibility classes.
