Resume:

Hello Brian,

As per your suggestion, I'm writing you re: a potential position in sales and marketing position at R George Associates. My name is David Kingsburg, and I was the founder of Creative Library Concepts, a northeastern based Library furniture dealership. I started the firm in 1986, and grew it into a multi-million dollar enterprise. Today, the business is owned and operated, by my son Brad Kingsburg. He has built my/his firm, into a larger entity, currently employing 13 professionals, in sales, design, project management, installers, and administrative. We decided when I retired in 2021, that this was his business, and I would never interfere or attempt to work there again. And I agreed whole heartedly. He is now killing it! Very proud of him.

I'm currently living in central Florida. My interest in working again, is both financial and a way to eliminate the boredom that I've been experiencing . I just want to work again, as I miss the action of selling.

I've represented many of the suppliers and vendors that your firm currently represents. I personally know their products intimately. So there would be zero training that I require. I will hit the ground running from day one.

Over the past 40 years, I have sold probably anywhere from $80m-$1000m dollars of library shelving, consulting, and furniture, including high density shelving. My order at the Library of Congress, ranks in the top 2-3 deals for high density shelving nationwide. I think only the National Archives in Washington DC, was the only deal that was larger.

I have expertise selling to media centers in K-12 projects, public libraries, and university projects. One of my largest public library projects, was in Fairfax Virginia, where I closed an order for 15 brand new libraries. When said and done, this was over a $10m order.

I could list many additional projects, if you are interested, some of which appear on the Creative Library Concepts website.

So I won't bore you anymore with my accomplishments and expertise. It's difficult attempting sell myself to other people, as I am typically a humble man, and I haven't worked for anyone else since 1979, when I first went into business selling filing and storage systems. I sold that company, Advance Office Systems, in 1985, before starting Creative Library. Advance, was the largest White Office Systems dealer, from 1979-1986.

Please contact me, if your company feels I could be an asset to R George Associates, in any capacity.

I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your consideration.,

David Kingsburg
