As a member of the Quality Assurance (QA) Department. The responsibilities included assigning transcription jobs to transcriptionists and entering data on an Excel worksheet. Lifelong, Seattle, WA. Temporary Records Clerk. April 2019 to November 2019. I carried out a scanning project for converting all of their clients' paper files to an electronic format. BECU, Tukwila, WA. Records Clerk. September 2018 to March 2019. A document scanning project to convert all paper files from the Everett, WA Financial Center to an electronic format. Aerotek, Bellevue, WA. June 2018 to September 2018. Through this temp service I worked a three-month project scanning and uploading loan documents at a downtown Seattle site. BECU, Tukwila, WA. Records Clerk. May 2017 to June 2018. This was a document scanning project to convert all client files from the Tukwila Financial Center to an electronic format. Hammack Law, Seattle, WA. Legal Assistant. October 2016 to April 2017. This is a firm specializing in bankruptcy. Duties included preparation of legal documents and settlement demands, scanning documents, creating and updating case files, and ordering medical records. Feldman & Lee, P.S., Kent WA. Medical Records Clerk/Legal Assistant. September 2015 to September 2016. Duties included ordering medical records and billings, filing/maintaining case files, settlement negotiations, disbursements of personal injury settlements, and scanning records. IOD, Inc. - Release of Information (ROI) Specialist. May 2012 through August 2015. My duties included the retrieval and processing of protected health information (PHI) in response to records requests, including ones from patients, attorneys, and insurance companies. Duties included scanning and transmission of medical records in response to records requests from hospitals, patients, insurance companies, and others. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
I worked for more than seven years as a paralegal for Diego Gavilanes, P.S., a personal injury and immigration firm in Everett, WA. In addition, I worked short-term jobs as a legal assistant for Dean Standish Perkins, P.S. of Seattle; and for McIntyre & Barns, of Seattle. Prior to my experience as a release of information (ROI) specialist I worked a number of other assignments. Among these was working as a member of the Washington State small cities healthcare screening team as well as jobs as a medical coder, document scanner, and journalist. KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Office. Some experience in Excel.
* Speedy typist, with experience in 10-key, data entry and Gregg shorthand.

Medical — Degree as a medical administrative assistant from Bryman College. Also earned certificates as a phlebotomy technician from Pima Medical Institute and certificates as a medical coder, clinical lab assistant, and in medical terminology from other programs.
