Comcast – Preventative Maint. Technician February 2016 to May 2021
• Troubleshoot and resolve service failures from the fiber node to the CPE
• Provided coaching and support to other technicians for issues relating to installation, service, and customer satisfaction of all residential and commercial applications
• Performed underground locations of existing plant using system prints, and cable locating equipment in order to prevent cable damage and service interruption.
• Troubleshoot the plant through the distribution cable to the node in order to restore video, CSHI, or CDV as required. Survey the plant in order to insure service availability to potential customers.
• Performed CLI ride-out and track and repair leakages. Worked and traveled in inclement weather with company provided bucket truck.
