Educational and Academic Training Qualifications:

I did my Bachelor’s Science (BSc) with Honors in Physics and Mathematics and then Masters in Physics (MSc) in 1970 from the Panjab University with a GPA of 3.97 and topped the University List. I was also awarded an Academic Roll of Honor for that particular year.

During my Public Service Career I attended and qualified a Diploma course of a year duration at National Institute of Public Administration at Lahore in subjects like Political Science, Economics and Statistics etc.

I satisfactory completed training at IMF Institute, Washington DC in the field of Exchange Control Systems, Balance of Payments Analysis, Current Accounts Deficits and other matters of Fiscal and Monetary policy of the governments.

I underwent In service advanced training to prepare for decision making in Higher Management Grades in the Government. I successfully completed 18 months in the discipline of Public Policy and Reform, Economic Development at Pakistan Administrative Staff College/ National School of Public Policy at Lahore.

Service Experience and Achievements

I taught Physics and Mathematics at Forman Christian College a premier institution at Lahore to undergraduate students.

I served in Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and conducted Nuclear Research.

I worked at West Pakistan University of Engineering and Technology as Assistant Professor of Physics for two years.

I was inducted in the Foreign Service of Pakistan and served abroad in Africa/Zimbabwe, Middle East/United Arab Emirates, and North America as Consul General at California/Los Angeles.

I took up Permanent Residence in the US in 2000. My time for next four years was shared between tutoring Science Subjects to my sons who were studying at Santa Monica College and then UCLA and an Auto body shop which I had purchased for private business.

I also regularly coached my daughter who was studying in the Beverly Hills School District in Mid level Science Subjects and Mathematics. I was enjoying doing so, I decided to take up a regular career in Substituting Teacher at Middle School level. I had then my academic degrees evaluated, took and qualified the CBEST test and earned my Credentials in 2002 for an Emergency 30 Day Substitute teacher in from California Commission of Teachers Credentialing under permit # .

Now as luck would have it, I was called again by the Government to head, upgrade and reform a couple of state agencies one after the other dealing with international finance and trade. This was essentially my area of expertise as I had dealt with International Monetary Fund, the World Bank,the US AID etc. I did that successfully.

Now After reaching superannuation I have since returned back to Los Angeles my first love and home. I intend and want to devote my time and energy full time in giving back to the youngsters of this county what I have learnt over the years.

Besides instructing your students in the subjects of Mathematics and Physics which I am sure I can handle very well. I also offer and prepared to share with them my practical management experience /anecdotes from my diverse exposure to various cultures /nations/ regions of the world in current disciplines like international Commerce /trade etc. And tutor how contemporary Governments/ Agencies/world organizations work in real time. This sort of grooming would surely help develop in them all rounded successful personalities imbued with positive leadership qualities and required confidence.
