Perform the duties of QA/QC of rail car products and the welding and assembly of rail cars. Perform required inspections to prints and codes required from beginning of rail car build to completion of rail car using provided prints and codes required for contracts up to and including final rail car inspection as required for customer. I worked on the new york nyct contract inspecting from start of build to final inspection of 268 cars, and on the KL contract for malaysia performing assembly inspections, wire harness inspections and final car inspections of the 36 cars, performed customer buy back inspections from the interior and exterior, to include all hardware, underframe, paint sealant and electrical.worked along side the customer during final inspections to insure a complete built product for the safety of passengers once the rail car was in service.
