Chester Jordan Elementary School
September 2023–May 2024
Participate in non-paid internships working with teachers of record. I had the opportunity to experience a first-grade classroom. My duties included working one-on-one with students, guiding reading activities, helping with discipline, and performing other administrative duties such as setting up bulletin boards, making copies, and grading assignments and instructions.
Paso Del Norte Fine Arts Academy
October 2024-May 2025
I participated in my second year of a non-paid internship, working with teachers and students. Firsthand experience with a third-grade and fifth-grade classroom. My duties included working one-on-one with students, guiding students with assignments, disciplining students, and performing various duties such as organizing, grading, and tutoring.
Future Goals
After graduation, I plan to continue my education studies at UTEP, aiming to earn my bachelor’s degree in BSED EBIL (Elementary with Bilingual Certification) the following school year.
I'm also considering pursuing a master’s degree to gain more job opportunities. Aside from my education, I dream of someday opening a Folklorico dance studio to combine my passions for dance and teaching.
