PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE: FBI Charlotte, NC: 2014 - November 30, 2024

Special Agent/Relief Supervisor. Conducted background investigations, including security assessments

for potential new hires, as well as working as Special Agent Assessor for applicants at final (phase II)

interviews in the hiring and recruiting process, conducting panel interviews throughout the United

States. Volunteered in conducting Personal Security Interviews (PSI). Familiar with BEAST (background

and security transformation/FBI). Conducted physical, discreet surveillance of subjects to include

international and domestic terrorism subjects, violent gang and drug organization leadership, public

corruption, fraud /white collar crime and other federal matters. Team leader of covert group, including

coordinating aviation assets, for investigations involving title III's and coordinating arrests and various

operations. Obtained detailed photographs and DNA covertly to solve numerous cases, including cold

case homicides.

FBI San Juan, Puerto Rico: 2009-2014.

Special Agent. Served as a backup legal advisor handling various legal issues for the field office

concerning criminal and civil matters. Testiffied in jury trials. Served as team leader on covert

surveillance team, working a wide range of investigations from international and domestic terrorism

investigations to Latin gangs/fraud matters in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Conducted

investigations obtaining and analyzing evidence in one of the largest social security fraud investigations

in the United States.

FBI Buffalo, NY: 2002-2009.

Special Agent. Served as an assistant legal advisor to the Chief Division Counsel (CDC) handling various

legal issues for the field when CDC was out of office.. Conducted PSI interviews for background

investigations of new agent and support employee applicants and documented results for the applicant

coordinator and polygrapher. Operated sources and collaborated on the creation of first FBI intelligence

squads created after 9/11 terrorist attacks. Monitored wire taps (Title III's). Assisted in analyzing and

evaluation financial documents in fraud and white collar case investigations. Investigated

international/domestic terrorism subjects as member of Joint Terrorism Task Force. Investigated hate

crimes, FACE act crimes, and color of law matters as member of Civil Rights squad. Conducted

interrogations of high value detainees in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba detention facility in 2005. Corroborated

and shared information between FBI and a foreign Government during a foreign 90 day temporary duty

(TDY) in 2005. Member of Evidence Response Team (ERT), collecting, preserving mapping and handling

evidence from major crimes /disasters such as body recovery/evidence collection from the 2009 crash of

Colgan Air flight #3407 in Buffalo. ERT trained on Nikon Total Station scale mapping of large crime

scenes.

SCIOTO COUNTY (OHIO) PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE: 1992-2002.

Assistant County Prosecutor. Conducted felony jury trials, grand jury investigations, probation revocation

hearings and motions before trial court. Demonstrated effective problem solving and time management

abilities in handling heavy felony case load while assisting others such as juvenile court prosecutors and

ensuring all matters were conducted within statutory time limits and hearings were conducted in an

efficient, professional manner the victims, the court, and the defendant’s deserved. Assisted police and

sheriff departments and other agencies with firearm related investigations during call outs. Participated

in interviews, interrogations and evidence collection.
