Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Splice fiber optic cables including loose tube and ribbon cables using various splicing methods including bonding, grounding, isolation slack storage and /or sealing. 2
● Testing and labeling fiber and connections.
● Troubleshooting and repair.
● Installation of splice closures.
Other Duties
● Move and/or carry materials, supplies and equipment to/from work location.
● Clean, sweep, pick-up and discard debris and rubbish.
● Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
● Assist with running and/or stringing cable.
● Assist with installations, construction and/or other field support activities. Education
