May 22, 2025 – Present - Registrar of Voters/County of Riverside – Election Assistant/Warehouse
Duties: The type of duties that I did were
-Front Counter Customer Service/ Runner: Heavy customer service at the counter and in the lobby printing receipts and standing all day and working on laptop computers. Must have excellent customer service and give special attention to detail.
-Data Entry/Phones: Heavy phones and data entry. Interacted with voters regarding their ballots over the phone, registration card entry, checking addresses and signatures on petitions and making updates.
-Ballot Collection: Primary duties will include providing support with Ballot Box Drop off locations throughout Riverside County. Possessed a valid California Driver's license and was willing to use personal vehicle for arriving at assigned locations. Mileage reimbursement provided.
-Voting Assistant Center Staff: Included providing Polling Place/Voter Assistance Center Site Lead and Assistant Lead coverage. Leaded a team in all aspects of processing voters, time and volunteer management, problem solving, closing procedures. All candidates attended a three week Training Academy.
-Poll Call Center Staff: Primary duties included providing support during the 2024 March Primary Election with the call center. Staff received calls from Elections Officers, resolved issues via phone, and escalated issues to Supervisors when appropriate.
-Vote Center Survey Staff: It included conducting Polling Place Accessibility Surveys leading up to the 2024 November Presidential Election.
-Warehouse: Where it was a very fast paced. I frequently lifted up to 30 lbs. at a time. I drive a truck on errands, pick-ups and to polling sites. There was knowledge of Excel. Dealt with Edge polling units. Verifed seals (#’s), document and made sure seal is in appropriate area utilizing a scanner. Inventory items were sent out to the polling areas including ballot boxes, flags, posters, bags containing pens, tables, chairs, etc. The Warehouse Operations were maintaining reports, entering notes into a data base, and filing forms. Assisted with pre and post-election duties.
-Ballot Counting: Standed and operated ballot counting equipment for extended periods of time (6-8 hours per day), lifted 10 pounds of ballots repeatedly.
-Ballot Slicing/Opening: Opened vote-by-mail envelopes and extracted ballots and/or assisting with the slicing process. This was a fast-paced environment, moved boxes and envelopes, and operated ballot extraction machinery.
-Ballot Sorters: Sorted vote-by-mail envelopes, operated mail sorting equipment. This was a fast-paced environment, regular standing and required some lifting.
-Ballot Staging: Unfolded vote-by-mail ballots and prepped them for ballot counting. Parking Lot: Required standing all day. Worked within the provided EZ Up shelters collected ballots from voters driving through the parking lot.
-Traffic Control: The position required staff to deploy equipment daily and direct incoming traffic in a safe and efficient way. Evening duties included storing traffic equipment and unloading live ballots. Staff will be responsible for conducting the 1% manual tally. Must be safety oriented.
-Verification and Duplicating Ballots. Included vote-by-mail verification and duplicating ballots. Had detail-oriented.
December 30, 2024 – January 8, 2025 – KSE Systems – Entry Level Sales Representative
Duties: I was under supervision to conduct outreach initiatives to raise brand awareness and attract potential customers. Assist potential customers with the enrollment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Provide information about products and services, addressing inquiries and concerns. Track and report on enrollment metrics and customer feedback to improve outreach strategies. Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement effective outreach campaigns. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on client offerings and industry trends.
September 20 – November 5, 2024 - Registrar of Voters/County of Riverside – Elections
Duties:
I worked for the 2024 Presidential Election for the County of Riverside. Setting-up the Vote Center, installing and assembling the processing table, communicating and linking the Voting Electronic Machines, Voting Laptops, and Dymo Label Printers. Received, and assisted walk-in public and answered routine election questions. Provided information and issued appropriate elections and/or voter registration. Data entered of elections, various election materials, and document information. Verified and authenticated changes and cancellations to voter records, including name, address, party affiliation, and other data, utilizing the Ballot on Demand machine database and printed out their ballot. I activated the Accessible Voting Units to get them running. Assisted, directed, and instructed the voter to the Accessible Voting Units. I also worked on Vote By Mail, where people drop off their ballots, and the Greeting Table, where we give them a ballot request form. I worked at different Voting Polls for a 7-day site where I do Voter registrations and had them vote. Also, a 4-day site where I would do the same thing for those days and on Election Day. Store, inventory, and/or retrieve various election materials to voting places and ballots to the Registrar of Voters Warehouse. I recorded my time worked, overtime, mileage, and reimbursement.

Duties: I handled meat, put them on the shelves, and cleaned the shelves.
