Director/Subject Matter Expert, (April 2023-Present) WCG (CGI Project)
WCG Improves the quality and efficiency of clinical trials. Facilitating Pharmaceuticals, Biopharma, Device Manufacturers, Sites, CROs, and Institutions in the development of new treatments and therapies for patients.
● First developer from CGI, tasked with replacing existing online web app, as well as 30-year-old legacy desktop application.
● Built a proof of concept (POC) named eReviewManager using FastAPI and Postgres Database on backend and an Angular frontend using Docker, within the first 30 days.
● POC was accepted by WCGs board, and received over $10 Million in funding.
● Expanded the team to 40+ developers, which I led and managed.
● Implemented SDLC process, translating requirements into Jira stories.
● Designed application to integrate messaging from external clients to internal business users, allowing real time notifications of submission and document approvals, and chat functionality, using websockets through Azure Web PubSub.
● Architected role based permission system, validating access to appropriate functionality.
● Interactions between eReviewManager and legacy application were added utilizing Kafka.

Cigna (CGI Project) Analytics Management Platform, (May 2022-April 2023)
Affordability Management Platform enables Contractors, Network Analytics, Pricing, Competitive Intelligence, and Opportunity Detection to view Cigna’s Key Business trends for different providers and systems. AMP is a portal, hosting analytics and metrics of Cigna’s provider networks. It also provides user admin to all the tools in the AMP ecosystem.
● Led team of 20+ developers.
● Designed application, from database and APIs, to frontend UI using React and React UI.
● Formalized SLDC and CI/CD process.
● Improved engineering team output from 10 points per sprint to over 70.

Cigna (CGI Project) Contract Strategy, (Nov 2020-April 2022)
Contract Strategy is a tool, allowing contractors to create strategies for renewing provider contracts. It handles $90B worth of Cigna’s business. All contract negotiations are expected to use Contract Strategy by end of 2025.
● Led team of 10+ developers.
● Architected Contract Strategy application, providing a way to pivot contract strategies to accommodate the renewal needs of disparate providers while still conforming to basic contract format.
● Built backend utilizing AWS, SNS, and SQS events, enabling asynchronous updates from different tools.
● Implemented real time backend to frontend communication using websockets, allowing underwriters to collaborate and see changes immediately.
● Permissions implemented and communicated via websockets, allowing users to grant or remove access instantly.
● Designed and implemented a notification system, so users could be notified of changes to things like their profile.
● Frontend built using React and React UI, with tests written in Jest.

Users could build numerical or categorical metrics for different types of categories such as Clinical, Financial, or Membership, and specify different conditions as well as any actions that should be performed.
● Developed Frontend using Angular 6.0.

Diameter Health

Diameter Health was a startup that worked to simplify and combine medical records (EHR/EMR) in a concise and organized manner.
● Built de-duplicator tool, which coalesced multiple EHR and combined them into a single record, using NodeJS and MongoDB.
● Medical records processed included CCDA and HL7.
● Developed frontend interface using React.
