(a)Train Zambian Citizens on the operation of the following cranes on site. Operate cranes when required.

Lattice boom crawler cranes up to 300 tonne capacity
Truck mounted cranes (hiab) up to 6 tonnes capacity
Franna cranes up to a capacity of 20 tonnes
(b) Coordinate, control and execute lifts on site. Also standing in for Senior supervisor when he is on rotational break and also when required.
(c) Prepare and sign onto Job Safety Analysis, work permits and Lift plans.
(d)Daily & weekly thorough inspection of cranes, greasing and reporting faults.
(e) Ensure that junior crane operators comply with Company, National and International Standards and all mining regulations.
(f) Adhere to all safety practices and procedures as stipulated by the company and mining regulations.
(g) Ensure that there is sufficient and high quality of training of Zambian Nationals to undertake site crane lifting requirements and perform all duties related to the above tasks.
(h) Assist in doing rigging work when required
