I have also served in the following areas, a Project Manager, Quality Control Inspector with (BDA) Building Diagnostics Associates Hollywood, FL, a Roofer, with three different companies and I have also been a roofing estimator with Joe Ward Roofing Co. of South Florida.

1980-1986 - Max Greenwald Roofing Company Hyattsville, MD Duties - Tearing off old roofs and replacing with new ones. For these jobs, we used hot asphalt, torch-applied TPO, and EPDM single-ply 1983-1985 – Bus driver at Regan National Airport Washington D.C. Duties - To pick up and drop off passengers and employees at the airport 1985-1993 - Bus driver for Mount Calvary Holiness Church, Alexandria Va., and Washington D.C.
Duties – To escort church member to and from different conventions and church events 1986-1990 - Project inspector for (ETC) Engineering Technical Consultants in Reston, Va. Duties - To make sure that contractors were following building codes, as well as conduct progress meetings. I also held meetings to analyze roof samples for government and private companies.
1990-1993 - J & R Roofing, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Baltimore Maryland Duties - To tear off old roofs and replace them with new improved roofs. I also had to drive dump trucks and operate the forklift and bobcat. 1993-2007 Project Manager for (BDA) Building Diagnostics Associates Duties - As a project manager, I had to design specifications, and blueprints using Excel and Word. I had to conduct meetings with contractors and stay on the job site to make sure that the jobs were completed and on time. I also did some job estimates to make sure that the contractors complied. I overseen up to or in some cases over a million dollars worth of commercial new and tear-off construction jobs. I traveled from Florida to New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit.
2008-2010 I did sub-contracting for myself giving job estimates on new and old flat and shingle roofs and estimates on patching old roofs. 2005 – Present – Self-employed Norman’s Photoland
Duties- I offer photography and video sessions for a variety of events. 2014-2015 A roof estimator for Joe Ward Roofing Company in Homestead, FL Duties- I go out to meet with potential clients giving them not only an estimate on their roof but, also educating them on why a contractor is vital to their roofing investment. After the estimate, I meet with them and go through a variety of checkpoints on their ongoing problems and how we can solve them. I attend different seminars and listen to different (CCN) Certified Contractors Network CDs from the Measure call, boot camp, and Closing the Deal. 2015-2016 A roof estimator for SK Quality Roofing in Delray Beach, FL Duties- I call potential clients from Thumb Tax and Home Advisor and set up appointments to go out and educate them more on their concerns of getting a new roof or repairing their old roof. I put together the specs. And oversee the job as well as other ongoing jobs.
2017-2019 A project manager with Biscayne Roofing. Davie Florida Duties- I had to design specifications, and blueprints using Excel and Word. I had to conduct meetings with contractors and stay on the job site to make sure that the jobs were completed and on time. I also did some job estimates to make sure that the contractors complied. I oversee up to or in some cases over a million dollars worth of commercial new and tear-off construction jobs. I was the Project manager over three of Broward County Middle and High Schools. Mainly working with Soprema products. When the contract ended, that’s when my position ended because I was hired to cover all of the school jobs they contracted, and their contract ended.
2019-2020 I worked at Grace Roofing Coral Springs
Duties- Working with the FCS program as a manager over the Palm Beach Schools. Ordering materials for the workers to perform the repairs, and estimating how much work need to be performed. Keeping records and putting all the information in FCS.
2021-2022 Worked at Crown Roofing Pompano Beach
Duties- A sales estimator for the residential department, putting together the specifications to perform the jobs, assistant to the service manager. Ordering materials for different jobs, getting the different crews schedule situated for the week. Conducting Zoom calls and visiting the different job sites to make sure the work is being performed as quoted. Also, information was collected in FCS. 2022-Present- Still involved in my Photography and Print Shop Landmark Photos and Prints Duties- Portrait Studio, Printing shirts, banners, signs, magnets, etc. Taking family pictures and event printing on location.
2024 February to 2024 September Worked at Pritts Roofing Fort Lauderdale Duties- Project Manager and Inspector overseeing three jobs totaling up to six million dollars. And all three came in under budget. They were tearing off BUR and putting back BUR two with pitch and a tapered system and one modified. All three on Jenson Beach, Hutchinson Island Florida. Full-time Quality Control. These jobs ended on September 7, 2024. I oversaw 5 to 23 employees from three different jobs. I was hired as a subcontractor.
2025 January to March Work at Pritts Roofing Fort Lauderdale Duties- Project Manager and Inspector overseeing another job totaling up to three million dollars. Tearing off a foam covered roof and putting back a tapered BUR system. On Jenson Beach, Hutchinson Island Florida, Full-time Project Manager. I’m hired as a subcontractor.
