Objective

10+ years experience in the warehouse environment focusing on all areas of warehouse support, including forklift operation, and basic computer skills.

*Responsible for efficiently transferring freight from truck to dock and vice versa (loading and unloading freight)

*Thoroughly maintain Dock area and surrounding areas, specifically standard cleaning as well as oiling and testing machinery to assure safety

*Complete safety inspection of all freight/cargo that comes into the dock, for damage or loss

*Complied with OSHA and company safety procedures, rules and regulations

*Order fulfillment

*Maintain compliance with the state and federal department of transportation while operating machinery necessary for loading/unloading freight/cargo

*Safely transport freight/cargo to and from dock within warehouse grounds

*Professionally complete the “order to shipping” process by: interpreting shipping labels, completing any necessary forms, freight bills, overage/damage forms, etc..

*Consistently meet/exceed safety requirements on dock, in warehouse and entire warehouse grounds by continuous education and safety trainings

*Maintained inventory control and organization of all material and products

*Interacted with customers in a professional manner

*Heavy lifting

*Transported cars from auctions to one or more locations

*Responsible for automobile maintenance, such as: oil/tire changing, replenishing fluids, cleaning and some body repair

*Thorough documentation of pick-ups and delivery of cars

*Work in conjunction with auto dealers to communicate updates, inventory and tracking of vehicles

*Handle car inspections noting any damages and repairs needed

*Maintained safety and compliance with state regulations and federal DOT regulations

*GED
