Provide leadership, support and corrective actions in the above-mentioned areas. Works closely with the furnace engineer to improve efficiency, quality and safety while optimizing performance of two 180-ton glass Melter’s. Monitor’s railcar activity and conditions of of tracks within the facility. Oversees raw material inventory to insure no gaps in production. Is a liaison between operations, engineering and the maintenance department in the implementations of capital projects and daily maintenance activities. Works closely with outside contractors to maintain and improve stability of environmental systems and railyard. Provides overall leadership when Production Superintendent is in meetings or away from the plant.

Provides leadership, support and corrective actions for the T Glass operation. Works closely with Engineering, Maintenance and outside contractors to improve efficiency, quality and safety while optimizing overall performance of the department.

Responsible for supervising 40 (union) production personnel in the planning and scheduling of work to utilize equipment and maintain maximum productivity levels. Responsible for coordinating and managing assigned resources and employees to meet or exceed production and safety goals.
