Supervising the technical aspects of 4 Bulk vessels, including operations, maintenance and repairs.

Ensuring vessels adhere to all relevant safety regulations and standards.

Monitoring and optimizing vessel performance to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Overseeing maintenance budgets and expenditures for assigned vessels.

Providing technical expertise and support to the crew and shore-based staff.

Conduct vessel inspection and audit.

Monitor fuel and lubricant consumption through regular reports.

Oversee vessel certifications, including regular surveys, inspections, and compliance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, maritime legislation, and flag state requirements.

Promote safety standards and safe working practices, ensuring that vessel operations adhere to industry best practices.

Act as the principal point of contact between ship and shore staff, providing regular updates on technical issues that impact vessel availability.

Conduct interviews during hiring, provide crew orientation, and oversee the disciplinary process for incidents.

Ensure the timely and efficient completion of vessel maintenance tasks, addressing any critical issues or breakdowns.

Track the condition of vessels, including downtime and maintenance requirements, in coordination with the captain and chief engineer.

Monitors bunkering schedules passing to master’s proper instructions and validates volume requirements, monitoring of ships’ implementation of bunkering operation as per company procedures.

Advises vessel on the result of machinery lube oil sampling and analysis result as recommended by accredited third-party service provider.

Monitor and approve vessel spares and stores requirements.

Check all bills for repairs, lube oils, spare parts, stores and services to ensure that each one are within the budget; keep verification procedures to ensure received and done.
