- Project 2: Quantitative Simulation of Daily Groundwater Levels in The Mississippi River Valley Alluvial Aquifer Using GMS-MODFLOW
• Conducted quantitative modeling of groundwater flow using daily data for multiple growing seasons in the Delta region with GMS-MODFLOW, considering geological, meteorological, hydrological, and hydrogeological parameters.
• Calibrated and validated several steady-state and transient groundwater models developed for the Delta region.
• Performed parameter estimation using PEST and conducted sensitivity analysis on recharge rates and hydraulic conductivity.
