Professional Summary
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated high school student seeking an entry-level position that will enable me to develop my skills in communication, teamwork, and community engagement. Eager to contribute positively and learn in a dynamic environment, I am committed to bringing energy and a strong work ethic to any role. Even though I haven’t had a formal job yet, I’ve worked hard in my community and learned a lot through volunteering. Teaching kids about Black history helped me grow my communication skills and taught me how to be patient, clear, and encouraging. When I volunteer at events and serve people, I love seeing the smile on their face just from a kind word or good service. It shows me that making someone’s day a little better goes a long way and that’s the kind of energy I want to bring to any job I have. I may be young, but I’m dependable, eager to learn, and excited to grow. Willing to relocate to: Tacoma, WA

Bethel recreation center-Spanaway, WA
December 2024 to February 2025
Bethel Recreation Center was where I had my very first job, working as a youth basketball referee. It was a community space full of energy, laughter, and kids just learning the game. It wasn’t just about calling fouls or keeping score it was actually a lot of fun! I got to be around the game I love, meet people from different backgrounds, and watch the players grow with each game. It also taught me a lot how to stay calm under pressure, how to communicate clearly, and how to be fair even when things got intense. I learned how to lead, how to take responsibility, and how to show up on time and ready. Looking back, Bethel wasn’t just a job it was the start of me learning how to work and connect with others.

Certifications and Licenses
Food Handler Certification
March 2025 to March 2027
A food handler’s card is basically a certificate that shows you’ve been trained in how to handle food safely. I got mine to make sure I understood how to keep food clean, avoid cross-contamination, and protect people from getting sick.
It’s not just about rules it really helped me understand the responsibility that comes with serving food to others. It showed me how even small things, like washing hands the right way or storing food at the right temperature, can make a big difference. It made me feel more confident and prepared to work in any food service job.
