Job Description:
Setting Up The Bar And Bartending
Maintains standard stock levels by placing orders for wine,champagne, beer, liquor and perishables at start of shift. Make sure that everything is at the bar and that there are enough backups for the shift.
Check the draught beers to make sure they're working and that they're not empty. Replace and rotates draught beer kegs, liquor pump rooms and soda bag-in-boxes as require.
Work Flow
Make sure that the bar is clean before opening it. Collect empty glasses from the bar. Wash glassware, use warm soapy water to wash, clean water to rise and cold sanitizer to sanitize the glassware. Wipe the bar top constantly. Responsible for ensuring a consistent flow of services to guest and cocktail servers by assisting bartender on anything that he/she needs all night. Customer Service
Approaches guests and welcomes them upon arrival. Promptly and professionally handles guest issues and communicates problems and concerns. Thanks guest, offers a warm farewell and invites them back upon. Closing Duties
Wash all the glassware. Restock beer, liquor, etc. Clean the bar. Place dirty towels in their appropriate location. Get rid of the trash and boxes. Make sure that the beer cooler is clean and organized. Always leave everything ready for the next day. Educational Background:
