Professional Summary

I have worked as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for 15 years. I began my career in a busy primary care setting to set the foundation as I learned to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions. By beginning my career in primary care, I feel that it set the foundation for my being able to expand my knowledge working in various subspecialties over the years. This profession has been very rewarding and satisfying and altogether a continuous learning experience.

When I am not working as an NP, I am a very involved Mom to three school-age children, ages 13, 11, and 9. Most of our time is spent in Spencerport where we live and the children attend the school. Our family stays busy with sports, fun outdoor activities, spending time with family/friends, and traveling to different places when we can.

My idea of a perfect job would be a job that allows me a good work life balance, weekday hours, flexibility, great team players, and an environment to be able to thrive in and make a positive difference in some way. It is also important that I accept a position with good benefits to cover my family’s needs in addition to working close to home or remotely for easily accessibility to my children in the event there is an unexpected circumstance that comes up with any of my three children and/or the timesaver factor with having my parental responsibilities during the evening hours following a typical workday.
