I am a Ph.D. candidate the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In my research I have coded many experiments to get ideas of how things worked, and then explored those ideas. While working on my degree, I have been learning about data science and have worked on several projects. I’ve found a love in data science for the similar workflow of combing through data to generate ideas, and then use/invent models to explore those ideas further. I am pursuing data science related positions and am eager to contribute. SELECTED PROJECTS:

Movie Box Office Success Predictor Feb 2025-Apr 2025

• This project builds a data-driven decision system that predicts whether a movie will succeed at the box office based on key influential factors. Our models identify patterns that distinguish financially successful films from unsuccessful ones, providing valuable insights for industry professionals and film enthusiasts alike. Age-Related Trends in Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease Prevalence in the United States Feb 2025-June 2025

• This project examines the prevalence of CKD and its association with diabetes across age-stratified groups. It uses data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey during 1999-2020. Weighted linear regression was performed to examine time trends and find an association between CKD and diabetes. This project also explored the effectiveness of other statistical methods.

An Analysis of Neochloris Algae and their Ability to Adsorb Heavy Metal Contaminants Mar 2017 - May 2018 Nova Southeastern University Fort Lauderdale, FL

• Developed mathematical models and adsorption isotherms to test the ability of two species of algae to adsorb metal ions. Published in the journal of Applied Water Science. Hypocrisy and Corruption: How Disparities in Power Shape the Evolution of Social Control Dec 2016 – Dec 2018 Nova Southeastern University Fort Lauderdale, FL

• Developed mathematical models to demonstrate the beneficial effects of a disparity of power on a species success. Published in the journal of Evolutionary Psychology. CERTIFICATES:
