I am a licensed Practical Nurse with an associate degree in science and a compact multistate nursing license. I bring with me 32 years of nursing, education, and program development experience. Currently I am working in a remote setting in the role of Population Health. My clinical experience includes medical surgical, surgical, cardiac step down and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Clinical experience outside the hospital setting includes working in a remote environment to provide in home case management, working with OSHA and JACHO regulatory agencies, and development of a private company marketing surgical sterility products. Six years if Occupational Health Management in a factory environment, which includes workers compensation, on-site nursing and emergency care, case management, development of protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, and management of contract labor. In addition to my clinical care background, I am an experienced nurse educator. Specific examples include development of Continuing Education credits (CEU’s) for a nursing professional organization (AORN), presentation of ongoing educational CEU’s to AORN chapter meetings, organizational training and development, and, more recently, ongoing health and safety education for a primarily non-English speaking population.
