I am a licensed Practical Nurse with an associate degree in science and a compact multistate nursing license. I bring with me 32 years of nursing, education, and program development experience. Currently I am working in a remote setting in the role of Population Health. My clinical experience includes medical surgical, surgical, cardiac step down and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Six years if Occupational Health Management in a factory environment, which includes workers compensation, on-site nursing and emergency care, case management, development of protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, and management of contract labor. In addition to my clinical care background, I am an experienced nurse educator. Specific examples include development of Continuing Education credits (CEU’s) for a nursing professional organization (AORN), presentation of ongoing educational CEU’s to AORN chapter meetings, organizational training and development, and, more recently, ongoing health and safety education for a primarily non-English speaking population.
