ABOUT ME
My name is Danara Peixoto, and I hold a degree in Architecture and Building Construction. Throughout my career, I have accumulated extensive experience working for two of the largest architecture and construction firms in Southern Brazil. In my independent path, I focused on the development and execution of both residential and commercial projects. In 2020 I moved to Germany with my family, which gave me the opportunity to be dedicated to the maternity.
After moving to Minneapolis in 2022, I started my journey back to my passion, Architecture. Since then, I have been dedicated to assisting the Brazilian community in transforming their properties into welcoming homes.

This distinctive residence, originally constructed in the 1980s, belonged to a family seeking to modernize its façade. To minimize debris and construction time, I recommended utilizing dry construction methods. Specifically, I proposed a steel frame solution, which proved ideal for executing the ledge while effectively concealing the existing roof, resulting in a streamlined and contemporary appearance.. EXAMPLE OF WORK OUTSOURCED TO THE ARCHITECT SILVIA PAMPLONA Floor plan layout, detailing for execution and rendering Software: Google Layout, SketchUp, V-Ray and AutoCAD This spacious apartment, characterized by its original finishes from the time of construction, underwent a transformative redesign to enhance its aesthetic appeal. The primary goal was to rejuvenate the space by introducing vibrant colors and lush vegetation, addressing the owners' concerns about the dated interior color palette. In this project, I successfully managed the execution, skillfully coordinating schedules, overseeing various phases, and directing the workforce to ensure a seamless and efficient execution of the design vision.

This project aimed to seamlessly integrate the external barbecue area with the adjacent kitchen. The study began by preserving the existing position of the grill and maintaining the original flooring as per the owners' request. To create a warm and inviting atmosphere while balancing the tones of the surfaces, we opted for a darker color palette that incorporated natural wood and contrasting elements, such as rugs and upholstery, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

INTERIOR DESIGN – RESIDENCE RENOVATION IN BRAZIL (2019)
“
”
This renovation of an administrative office marked my inaugural experience in managing an outsourced project. I was responsible for developing several complementary interior designs and overseeing the execution of the workforce, including hiring and scheduling. The primary challenge was adhering to a tight deadline, as the company needed to maintain uninterrupted operations throughout the renovation. Despite the difficulties, the project proved to be immensely rewarding, culminating in a successful transformation of the space.

This project was developed and executed in collaboration with architects Anelise W. Schmidt and Matilde Ihvens. The Lounge Bar served as a functional space for the Mostra Sul event held in Joinville in 2017. Spanning approximately 80m, our challenge was to create an atmosphere of contemplation, accommodating 45 seated guests who would be sampling the bar's offerings. The design aimed to enhance the exhibition experience while ensuring comfort and engagement.

In 2024, I launched a portfolio of services aimed at reigniting my career, specifically focused on developing interior design projects for the Brazilian community in the region. Alongside my work, I am dedicated to studying the language, which I believe is essential for my personal and professional growth in the United States. Returning to project work has been incredibly fulfilling; using my expertise to create spaces that provide comfort and a sense of personal satisfaction for my clients also brings me immense professional joy.
