Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
Completed all required daily recovery tasks to the work area to
continue the successful operation flow for maximum productivity.
Performs all sanitation tasks in accordance with the organization’s
directives. Responds to a wide variety of customer inquiries to
include offering product advice. Addresses customer concerns or
inquiries, referring those that cannot be handled personally to
appropriate personnel. Ensures that all customers are treated in a
courteous, friendly manner so that their experience is pleasant.
Operates an electronic checkout system to record unit prices. Projects
a helpful and courteous attitude while accurately and efficiently
processing orders, ensuring variances are within an acceptable level
and making sure that all media (i.e., personal checks, money orders,
traveler's checks, credit cards, debit cards, coupons and other
approved forms of payment) accepted is valid and contains the
required information and makes correct change for customers. Wrap
items and bag purchases properly to prevent merchandise
breakage/spillage.
