PROFILE

All my jobs had to do with problem-solving or dealing with people. As a farmer farming 400 acres of crops and raising 2400 pigs, I always had things going wrong and having to fix them. I also had to deal with marketing and buying. As a crop adjuster, I had to analyze and determine the extent of crop damage and do the appropriate paperwork. I also had to convey to the farmer what I was doing and why. Since this was a stressful time since crop damage affected his income, I also helped him through this process. I learned a lot about communication and customer service doing this.

As a pastor/missionary, I not only prepared and delivered sermons but also counseled and worked with people dealing with personal, emotional, or spiritual problems. Here, I also further enhanced my people and problem-solving skills. FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
