Answered phones for the ICU, put together patient charts, and filed paperwork. Responsible for calling Dr.’s and other departments for the nurses. Ordered labwork for patient’s and assisted with making sure dialysis patients were charged appropriately for their type of dialysis. Assisted other departments with charts, phones, and computer issues that may have arised. Help other PCT’s (patient care tech’s) care for the patients.

Centegra upgraded their computer system and I was trained to teach other employees how to use the new system. Since the system had separate screens for the PCT’s, nurses, and Dr’s I was taught all of them. Them was support for a period after the launch and would go to wherever a person needed help with the new system.
