●Re-engineering production process as a result cutting out utility, capacity and raw material wastage and in turn improving process yield and project profitability by up to 60%.

Achievements
●Setting up the first commercially viable Mushroom Cultivation enterprise in Maputo Nofrom the ground up.
●Laying out the ground work for the importation of Spawn (a critical raw material) from the most profitable regional source through creating a strategic linkage with a cost efficient logistics provider and liaising with them in creating a suitable package for our need.
●Putting together a team of inexperienced Mozambican workforce and experienced Zimbabweans and facilitating a learning environment for the team at the same time managing resource wastage risk associated with cross-cultural conflict and the collective learning curve.
5). Rockshield Farming, Harare, Zimbabwe (April 2009-Present

Mandate: Setting up a lean Mushroom Production Project in Peri-Urban Harare to supply product to Greater Harare retailers and hoteliers.

Achievements
●Designing and Implementing a profitable Commercial Mushroom Cultivation Project in a partnership in which I share ownership.
●Being able to construct the project’s production shelter from low cost materials in 2 months and having the product ready for sale in 5 months.
●Bringing together a team of inexperienced individuals and training them on the job into motivated self managing employees in less than 4 months after starting operations.
●Instituting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation which has allowed us to continue cutting our costs with the aim of being the lowest cost producer in our industry.
