During my time with Testronic I worked on Palia to an early beta release, my job required me to do some f the following:

Test Planning and Execution- Collaborated with the development team from mid-development stages to release by using Jira to execute test plans. This included creating and maintaining comprehensive test suites and test cases.

Test Case Formulation- Actively contributed to the development of test cases by working closely with the development team to understand the project requirements and design. This involved identifying and documenting test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and positive/negative test cases. Issue Reporting and Tracking- Meticulously documented and reported issues discovered during testing to the development team. Used Jira to track and manage defects, ensuring that they were addressed in a timely manner.

Subject Matter Expert- Currently undergoing training to become a subject matter expert for a specific feature. This entails gaining in-depth knowledge of the feature, becoming the go-to person for related questions, and assisting team members in understanding the intricacies of that feature. Quality Assurance- Played a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the overall product quality. Ensured that all product releases met or exceeded quality standards by conducting thorough testing and providing valuable feedback for improvement.

Filling the Gap- Demonstrated flexibility and leadership skills by stepping up to fill the gap when a higher-level team member left the team. Assumed additional responsibilities and helped ensure the smooth continuation of testing activities and project progress. Working for EA on the development of Apex Legends taught me many things, some of which are: Writing Test Cases: To ensure consistency and thoroughness in our testing efforts, I took on the task of writing comprehensive test cases. These documents served as a valuable reference, guiding our team through the testing process.

Issue Validation: I played a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the game's overall quality. This included validating both new issues and pre-existing ones to ensure they were properly documented and addressed by the development team.

Regression Testing with Perforce: Utilizing Perforce, I conducted regression testing to safeguard the game's stability. This involved checking for unintended issues resulting from updates, preventing any disruptions to the player experience.

Console Command Expertise: I went beyond the call of duty by learning and documenting console commands that made our testing processes more efficient. This knowledge was a game-changer, streamlining our approach and ensuring consistency across different teams. Sharing Knowledge: As a mentor, I shared my expertise in console commands with newer team members, ensuring that essential knowledge was passed on and not lost. This helped elevate the team's overall testing proficiency.

Private Server Setup: To ensure seamless testing, I took the initiative to learn how to configure private servers. This allowed me to remove elements that might disrupt the builds, creating an optimized testing environment for the team.
