Summary

I was born in Chicago and moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, in 2010 with my family. I graduated from Sutherland Elementary School in Chicago before attending Brother Rice High School for one year. I attended Stevens High School in Rapid City for two years. My family moved to Des Moines, Iowa, in 2012 where I attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Later I took additional community college classes in Des Moines. In November of 2023 I moved back to Chicago with my family and now live in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood.

Work history

I was employed in the packaging department at the Gannett Publishing printing plant in Des Moines starting in November of 2014. Working as part of a team of 10, I was responsible for matching pre-printed material with daily publications. I helped prepare daily editions of the Des Moines Register and Wall Street Journal for delivery. Using dollies, I moved papers from the packing area to work stations where they were prepared for shipping and delivery. I operated a packaging machine to wrap material in preparation for shipping. I also organized material to be inserted in future publications. I helped with clean up duties, recycling unusable product and keeping the work area clean and ready for the next day.

Interests

I studied and played the trumpet for eight years in elementary and high school bands, performing with concert and marching bands in Chicago, Rapid City and Des Moines. I enjoy movies, reading, gaming and bicycle riding.
