Clinical Skills

During my time at East Ridge Assisted Living Facility, I provided support to the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) in caring for the residents. My responsibilities included administering partial bed baths, assisting with meal feeding, aiding residents in dressing, and facilitating their engagement in various activities..

I was employed at a Pizza Hut call center, where I handled customer orders, addressed any issues with those orders, and managed cancellations as needed.

I worked at the zoo selling merchandise to visitors, and it provided an enjoyable experience prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I obtained my CNA license and began my career at Baptist Hospital, specializing in cancer care and bone marrow transplants. This experience took place during the COVID pandemic, and the staffing shortages necessitated that we were trained to handle front desk responsibilities as well. My role involved coordinating with doctors, managing emails, restocking supplies for the unit, organizing assignments for the upcoming shift, and maintaining patient charts.

Working in both patient assistance and at the front desk has significantly expanded my knowledge and enhanced my skills with technology. I find great fulfillment in addressing patients' needs, and it is incredibly rewarding to be able to make a positive impact on their lives. Many individuals I interacted with left a lasting impression on me, and going home each day knowing that I contributed to improving someone’s situation is profoundly gratifying.
