Working with the Museum’s MarCom group to provide print production support to five Project Managers, along with several designers, I provide assurance that the pieces will print correctly and deliver/mail on time. I obtain quotes from our four vetted printers and provide Cost Confirmation to the clients within the Museum. Currently working 25-30 hours per week, completely remote.

Traffic Manager – Supervise two Traffic Specialists, work with 3 Design Specialists, and work with requesters across the country. I manage production and mailing of all printed pieces, working with one central printer and many other printers in specific locations. We provide materials for all fundraising events, such as postcards, invitation sets, signage, banners and a large variety of educational publications. I work with the central printer who provides the Society with a Portal for direct ordering. I also track costs, requests for quotes and paper expenses, along with postal information. The position entails meeting with many regional shareholders and maintaining deadlines along with accuracy and quality/brand standards.

Responsibilities include tracking all revenue, billing, and analyzing profitability scenarios. I handled all the paper choices, purchasing and maintaining adherence to USPS postal requirements. I managed the CAPS account, as well as mailing decisions needed to meet required deadlines. I worked with candidates, printers, analysts and designers daily. Scheduling of all aspects of production, from editorial to layout, to final product. Create impositions, preflight, process and place ads into layout. Work closely with Sales team, editorial and art departments to ensure on-time delivery to the printer. Also work closely with printer and post office. Manage production of items poly-bagging with magazines, as well as adherence to postal requirements. Work closely with clients to ensure adherence to their requirements. Overall management of the department to ensure economical and quality publications. Revenue retention and advertiser satisfaction are key responsibilities.
