I opened a lab in Jackson Ms., for Quest Diagnostics. I loved it, I had a lot of fun doing it. I realized I really enjoyed being a manager as well as doing patient care. There was myself and one other woman, who opened it together. We took care of everything in the lab as far as the collection and patent care end goes. The actual laboratory end of course was taken care by the MLT. S of my duties included
1. Stocking supplies
2. Check expiration dates
3. Logging expiration dates
4. Checking refrigerator temperature and logging it. 5. Making sure we were in compliance with OSHA and CLEIA. 6. Cleaning the lab
