Professional Summary:

I am a new immigrant from Afghanistan who speaks and understands English, Urdu, and other Middle Eastern languages. I have strong management skills and have organized business, logistics, and educational initiatives, I have enough work experience in O&M operations, and maintenance services and facilities. I completed the USCCB Refugee Resettlement Academy in the field of case management and worked as a supervisor of food distribution warehouses for US AID.

I am looking for similar work in the greater Silver Spring, MD area. I am also open to change and would consider any job to support my family. I am strongly motivated and have a determined work ethic. I am confident in my ability to succeed, which is why I moved my family to the United States in August 2024.

Most Recent Work Experience –

1)Currant, Warehouse Associate Amazon LLC, Wilmington De from 11,24,24, Received and inventoried customer orders, identified and checked by scan with the item list of computers, and solved the daily stock any problems according to the scope of work.

2)From 11,02,2024 to 11,23,24 Security Officer, Rainbow LLC Shopping Center Wilmington, DE, controlled and checked the shopping center's daily security issue and reached out to the daily security issue main office of Rainbow LLC.

3)From December 2022 to 2023 I was a Project Field Coordinator for a Basic General Literacy Project in Nangarhar Province, expanding adult education for marginalized groups, especially women, aged 15, and above. In addition to providing teacher training, we offered learning opportunities for thousands of disadvantaged learners in rural and underserved areas.

4)From May to December 2022, I was a Manager/Storekeeper for the World Food Program warehouse project. WFP has coordinated a vast network of trucks (6,500), aircraft (140), ships (20), and 850 warehouses globally -- all engaged in an effort to combat food insecurity and malnutrition.

5)From May 2016 to August 2021, I was a Site Lead /Supervisor with the IDSH Intentional & TKM Team Kabul Maintenance Company O&M operation and maintenance. I had many management duties for a large-scale infrastructure improvement effort in Kabul, Afghanistan’s largest city. This included supervising everyday department operations, and worker efficiency.

EDUCATION

University: from September 2001 to June 2005, I studied law and political science at Nangarhar University in eastern Afghanistan, graduating with the equivalent of a BS degree.
