Human Resources: Responsibilities include the following: Direct employment activities assuring properly qualified employees are recruited for open positions; Utilize all available labor sources to obtain the most qualified applicants; Develop, communicate and enforce company policies and procedures for management team and all associates;

Administer and participate in employee action plans (recognition, disciplinary, work

advancement, accommodations); Develop internal audit procedures in order to gauge quality and efficiency of work; Study and create visual data to support status of Human Resources functions; Develop programs and incentives, which capitalize on individual and/or team accomplishments; Develop, coordinate and provide training programs to the organization and/or specialized functional areas; Compliance activities in regards to federal and state labor laws; Company representative and contact for litigation issues; Oversee the administration of Environmental, Health & Safety activities; Direct the

administration of Workers’ Compensation incorporating aggressive claims management in order to reduce claims and lower claims cost; Manage Leave of Absence, Military and Return to Work programs; Develop and maintain Affirmative Action Plan for business, if applicable; Manage employee benefits programs with communication updates to Executive Management; Prepare, present and conduct business communication meetings for all levels of the organization; Develop company leadership role in local/state organizations, charitable opportunities and educational institutions; Administer Compensation and Performance Appraisal systems; Budgeting/Financial Planning and accountability; Oversee special events planning, coordination and implementation.

Non-Profit: Responsibilities as Victim Services Assistant at Family Sunshine Center include the following: Ensuring clients have immediate access to timely and relevant information about direct services when initial contact is made; Monitoring counseling center’s safety and security system via camera surveillance; Manage telephone system by assisting callers/transitioning calls to appropriate parties; Assist visitors and donors, while adhering to established protocol including confidentiality agreements and donation forms/documentation; Assist with inventory control by monitoring usage, processing deliveries, and presenting reorder status alerts; Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail/packages; Receive and process all monetary donations/gift cards based on Fiscal Management Procedures; Create daily communications, which provide relevant agency information; Develop and implement employee engagement activities such as contests and motivational resources; Provide administrative support to all levels of the organization as requested and needed.
