The project consists of developing a consistent plan surveying several plants at Total.

For the Phillips 66 we are installing a truck loading platform using a PLC with DCS interface.

Projects duties are as follows:

Designed electrical and instrumentation systems for various modernization projects in refineries, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, control panels, motors, transformers, switchgear, etc.

Prepared drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, material lists, and cost estimates using CAD and AutoCAD software.

Coordinated with engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure the project requirements, standards, codes, and regulations were met.

Reviewed and approved the drawings and documents of the subcontractors and suppliers.

Assigned to a Yokogawa to Honeywell DCS Migration Project “Houston, Tx, / Valero Plant Sunray TX.”

The project consists of developing infrastructure for Replacing Yokogawa DCS with Honeywell DCS in existing Reformer, H2 and Acid Control Room’s, Gas and Boiler RIE’s plants and verify using existing fiber tie-in to the new Main Control Room.

Projects duties are as follows below:

Developed a construction I/O database for a hot cutover that included existing JBoxes connections, marshalling with existing and new DCS terminations.

Conducted field survey to locate Honeywell DCS and Server Cabinets.

Coordinated design efforts and conflicts with Project Team, GES, SPI (Mangan) Valero Plant Designers and Construction

Project duties included developing a redundant Air Blown Fiber infrastructure for the entire plant and for future modifications. Also locate, ground, and provided power for Honeywell ICON Stations in Central and Local Control Rooms.

Assigned as Sr. Field Engineer for Honeywell on Coffeeville Kansas Flood Project for Coffeeville Refinery Resource.

This plant was six feet under water for several days.

Projects duties required to be completed within 8-12 weeks, the project was completed within the requested timeframe. Surveyed damaged electrical/control systems and coordinated, construction, material purchases and work packages. Developed FEL for LIGHT ENDS instrument modernization.
