KLG is a parent company overseeing two warehousing companies and one trucking company, five locations, with over one Million sq ft of warehouse. Provides warehousing, pick, pack, and other value-added services. Currently it has over fifty customers between Chicago to Milwaukee.

Director of Operations 2021-2024

Oversaw both warehousing companies, staff, facilities, and systems, Develop and Analyze monthly profit and loss, performance trends in order steer the business and improve monthly expenses, implemented current processes and procedures to achieve certifications with NSF and HALA. These improvements were achieved without additional cost while reducing labor and streamlining processes. Opened new warehousing for US Customs bonded material, lead several WMS systems projects to enhance our ability to perform assembly, track productivity, quality, and other value –added services into our operation. Perform sales and marketing strategies for the business, oversee new customer contracts, and start-ups. Brought in over 35% of new clients within a one and half year period.

Main Distribution Center Operations Supervisor 2015-2021 Overseeing of inbound/outbound, pick, pack, ship, and tractor/trailer, and yard, management workflows for the manufacturing campus for all domestic and international products. Managed all Distribution departments with five direct reports and up to two hundred indirect reports in over 540k sq. ft. space, increase pick, pack, and ship retail orders within 24 hours for an on-time delivery rate of 99.99%. Oversee distribution activity for all domestic and international, LTL and small pack shipments in a secure environment. Reviewed monthly P&L and all internal ROI projects with leadership. Developed and tracked daily KPI’s reports, and trends to ensure site meets its cost and objectives.

Sortation Manager, Distribution Operations 2004 – 2007

Managed sixteen direct reports and 480 indirect reports in over 500k sq. ft. of warehouse and distribution space. Increased pick, pack, and shipment of retail orders within 24 hours for an on-time delivery rate of 99.95%. Managed and built vendor relationships that enhanced organizational effectiveness and services. Oversaw all sortation equipment, conveyor lines, and automated WMS systems.

Assisted in a project that included Introduction of Barcode and Sortation Systems and Facility Restructuring.

(Distribution & Logistics), 257th BSB, Operations Sergeant; Supervised the operation of site and grounds of a highly classified structure during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tactical Operations Center Sergeant: Oversaw the safe operations that ensured equipment and personal transport through Kuwait during Operations Iraqi Freedom. Oversaw soldiers, transport routes, communications, and Gun-Truck Crews.
