This is a full, comprehensive curriculum plan for an ENG 101 composition class using the film 12 Angry Men as means to facilitate discourse on social justice through critical essay writing. All resources used in class are Open Educational Resources (OER). It includes all assignments, readings, prompts, lesson plans, syllabus, etc.

Recipient of the UC/CCC Internationalization Faculty Fellowship (Composition in Higher Education Through the Lens of Iranian Cinema)
Developed a curriculum that acknowledged a non-Western perspective in general education, in this case the Iranian perspective of college composition/essay writing through the lens of the country’s cinema. Original lesson plans, assignments, powerpoint presentations, essay prompts, and study guides were developed that integrated the topic into the learning outcomes of ENG 101 and ENG 102.
