Benefits Manager – (Duties include but not limited to)
● Oversee Health Insurance Benefits for Geosynthetics. Day-to-day issues with claims, eligibility, escalated issues, overrides and approvals. Manage all employee files pertaining to benefits. Administrator plan design, amendments, etc. work closely with brokers.
● Reconcile weekly BCBS claims, Stop Loss, FSA and HSA claims for accounting.
● Produce a monthly distribution for Health and Wellness, 401K Retirement, etc.
● Oversee FSA and HSA with HSA-daily issues.
● Manage 401K Retirement enrollments and SRP for
Corporate, process rollovers, death claims, terminations, withdrawals, QDRO Orders, weekly reports, updating payroll, assisting employees, and other daily issues.
● Reconcile monthly Admin Bills for BCBS, SunLife (Stop Loss) and MetLife.
● Manage Company Life Insurance, Voluntary Life, Short and Long-Term Disability; Accident/Critical Illness, Hospital voluntary plans, maintain files and manage all claims.
● Manage all Benefit Plan Setups in ADP for plan year deductions, changes, etc.
● Manage the Opt-Out Program with our Health Insurance. Get proof from employees, family members, etc., and pay-out each year.
● Oversee Cobra participants as needed and reconcile payments.
● Oversee worker’s comp claims for Cornelia/Commerce, including but not limited to; filing claims, maintain files for first Aid, recordable accidents, work with adjusters on claims as well as employees on their appointments or any issues they may have, and work with the doctors.
● Manage OSHA records, logs, record man hours and OSHA rates for Management on a weekly basis by location.
● Coordinate events for Cornelia/Commerce/Jefferson manufacturing including but not limited to offsite meetings, luncheons, service awards luncheons, gifts, Birthdays, Service Anniversaries, etc.
● Manage day-to-day employee personal files, filing, changes, terminations, etc.
● Sign-up new hires, training videos, set up all eligible benefits, manage I9 files, etc.
● Keep up with hourly employee attendance, write-ups, performance reviews, safety training schedules, job postings, etc.
● Manage ISO training files for Cornelia/Commerce.
