• Managed the SAPT website and the interactive maps; Researched for a replacement to Google that would work with our system and converted the interactive Google-based map embedded in the website with the replacement.

• Possess a complete understanding of the SAPT project which includes understanding what information was necessary from the flight information form and what our system needed to display.

• Rebuilt the interactive maps interface to display a route of flight and outages and display of NOTAMs (Notice To Air Missions) on a geographic map using Cesium, a JavaScript framework. CesiumJS is an open-source JavaScript library for creating world-class 3D globes and maps with the best possible performance, precision, visual quality, and ease of use.

• Implemented a new interface that required regression testing, test-driven development, handling of JIRA tickets, familiarity with industry-standard test and evaluation strategies, and FAA Verification and Validation (V&V) practices.

• Wrote simple test procedures to analyze and debug the XML data which was delivered to the front-end.

• Worked with JAVA developer to streamline the data shared via the Application Programming Interface (API). This process required an understanding of the data and what was being duplicated in the exported data incorrectly which helped resolved the delays.

• Worked closely with the test team to develop routines to test the website and interactive map interface. I also shared my website testing experience with the test team to write future test scenarios against the front-end system.

• Worked in a team environment to create test-driven development, perform regression tests and component tests, and reinforce the use of Git.

• Planned future development for the SAPT website with the stakeholders to ensure proper deliverable projects were successfully met on time.

• Tested the applications across browsers and devices to ensure a consistent user experience.

Human Factors Top Dog

Top Dog Award: Dan Johnson of the Human Factors Branch and Gerry Creighton from Hi-Tec Systems received the in-House Top Dog Award from the Human Factors Branch for developing and operating the conference website for the 6th International Conference on Research in Air Transportation (ICRAT). The conference, held the week of May 26, 2014 at the Istanbul Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey, is a joint venture between FAA, NASA, EuroControl, and other international aviation and air traffic management organizations. The website allowed organizers to manage the submission, review,

and acceptance process for conference papers. The site also provided information, registration, and other functions for attendees, organizers, and guest speakers. Johnson and Creighton produced a high-quality, useful, and usable site under tight schedule and cost pressures. The site has received numerous compliments and has international visibility.

As a volunteer trail builder, I have participated in trail building, maintenance, planned reroutes, planned and proposed & built two new trails in this world- class destination. I lead volunteer trail maintenance days where we have 5-20 volunteers show up requiring guidance, and time management for these projects.

Atlantic County Representative JORBA www.jorba.org As the Atlantic County representative for JORBA, I managed volunteers and trail maintenance in four parks. I put together trail system and reroute proposals and presented them to land managers and city officials. My long- term goal was to create a vast network of local trails to help build the mountain bike community in my county. I wanted to have more opportunities for the sport to grow so, by creating and maintaining my local trails, I was hoping that more people would get out and ride.
