As a conductor for BNSF varies from job to job. I will take trains from Alliance Texas to Madill OK, Oklahoma City or temple TX. I am in constant talk with the engineer letting him know what our speed limits are and what signals we are coming up to. I’m also vigilant in looking for the road crossings coming down or any pedestrians trying to cross the crossing. I am also in constant communication with the train masters to see if we are good for are lined route. When I am not taking trains I’m working in the train yard switching the cars out. I hooked the locomotives up to the train cars laced air hoses and I knock off any brakes when they are set. I switched the cars out accordingly. When I’m done switching out the cars and purifying what we need I will set brakes on those train cars.

I Perform car cuts and set brakes as needed. Ensure proper setup of the train’s rear before departure. Set and release brakes, lace air hoses, and inspect air flow, Communicate with engineers about car counts and switch locations. I Manually operate switches and inspect tracks for derails.
