Performs other duties as required, including receiving patients, checking laboratory slips for completeness, giving preparation instructions to patients, assisting physicians with bone marrow aspirations, assisting pathologists with post-mortem examinations following routine procedures as required, inventorying and ordering supplies as needed. Responsible for knowing the KPDS and LMS computer systems for accessioning patient orders, results, and other pertinent patient care data.
